Maison VEDA Lake Studio

Daily Kundalini classes, kirtans and gong baths, open to everyone: to our guests at the Lake Loft and the Lake House, and to visitors passing through.

Coming to a class

A Kundalini class lasts an hour and a half. Mats and blocks are provided, there is nothing to bring, and no experience is needed.

Length

90 min

For a Kundalini class. Other practices have their own length: times are in the schedule.

Equipment

Provided

Mats and blocks are waiting for you on the shala.

Level

All

No previous practice required.

How a class unfolds

  1. 1We tune in to ourselves, with a mantra and a warm-up.
  2. 2Then comes the kriya: a set of postures.
  3. 3We close with a meditation and a relaxation.

Anyone can follow a Kundalini class. The pace and the rest periods adapt to each person: you can slow down and take as many pauses as you like. You are encouraged to go further than usual, but you are the one who knows where your limit is and when to stop.

Intensity varies a great deal from one class to the next, depending on the kriya: some are gentle and meditative, others genuinely athletic. Either way, alternating effort and rest is there to balance the nervous system.

Booking is best: a WhatsApp message to Lilie or Anna is enough.

Our practice

Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan

Anna and I teach Kundalini Yoga as it was passed down by Yogi Bhajan — a practice that changed both our lives. For us, it isn't just another style of yoga: it's a path of transformation, where breath, movement and sound come together to awaken the energy that sleeps within each of us.

We believe deeply in the power of mantras — a source of healing that we live ourselves, every day on the mat. And among our most intense practices, Lilie leads the Rebirth Kriya sessions: a powerful breathwork, designed to move through and transform whatever asks to be transformed.

This week's schedule

Kundalini is our heart practice: it opens every day, six days a week. Around it come mantras, breathwork, kirtans and gong baths. The schedule is updated every week, here and on Instagram. The season starts gently in November, fills out from December to February, and eases off again in April.

The teachers

We share the same passion: passing on Kundalini and everything around it. And because discovery is part of the path, we also invite certified therapists and teachers to come and teach at La Maison VEDA — their transformative experiences appear in the schedule.

Radha Navjot Kaur

Founder and Kundalini Yoga teacher

Aurélie, Radha Navjot Kaur, is the founder of La Maison VEDA, a yoga studio and retreat centre in St-Simon, Charente, and in Habaraduwa, southern Sri Lanka.

Before yoga there were studies in Bordeaux and a decade in the pharmaceutical industry — and a body that eventually said no. Everything began to shift when she left to study Ayurveda in India: learning to listen to her body, to nourish it, to heal it. Then, through Kundalini awakening practices, finding her breath again, her clarity, and a deep sense of purpose.

She trained with two women from Yogi Bhajan's direct teaching lineage: Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, at Golden Bridge in the United States, and Sat Atma Kaur, whose school is in the Cévennes. Two spiritual warriors, as she likes to call them, whom she deeply admires — they are now between 70 and 90 years old.

She is also certified in Hatha yoga (Aryoga, Rishikesh, India) and trained as an Ayurvedic therapist at the Ayuskama clinic in Dharamshala.

At the studio she teaches Kundalini and meditation, and leads the Rebirth Kriya sessions.

Anna Pavan

Anna Pavan

Kundalini Yoga Teacher

My journey with Kundalini Yoga began in 2018, during a deep life and family crisis. I came to the practice not because I was looking for a new profession or a spiritual system. I simply needed to feel alive again.

The practice helped me find my breath, inner support, and a sense of wholeness. I became more aware, more energetic, healthier, and more connected to joy and to myself; my relationships with people and my sense of purpose in life began to change. I started to feel that I was living my own life again.

At some point, I understood that I wanted to be there for people who are looking to restore their strength and balance, to feel joy, taste, movement, and trust in life again.

In 2021, I completed professional training and received my Kundalini Yoga Teacher certification from the international school Amrit Nam Sarovar. I also began teaching in 2021.

Today, I see yoga as a tool that helps us get to know ourselves and reconnect with our body, breath, feelings, desires, and inner strength. I want to create a space filled with beauty, warmth, kindness, and lightness.

Through practice, we learn to hear our true desires, notice what is really important, and find the strength to follow our own path. And sometimes, we need to cross that inner boundary — the one that stands between our old life and a new chapter.

I believe that every person has their own unique creative potential and their own way of being in this world. My role as a teacher is not to give ready-made answers, but to create a space where each person can hear their own.

And after class, coffee, breakfast in the garden?
