Beyond 7 participants, our partner hotels take over — Tothupola, adjoining the house, and Jungle Breeze, two minutes on foot. They are quoted separately: ask for a quote.
Living under one roof
There are no single rooms at La Maison VEDA. The beds are spread across the two villas: at the Lake Loft, a large air-conditioned apartment with a fitted kitchen and a broad terrace onto the tropical garden, three sleeping areas set apart by wide curtains; at the Lake House, a traditional earth-walled house, two connecting rooms at the water's edge. Everyone has their own bed and their own space, in a comfortable place kept with care.

We host up to 7 guests across the two villas, and up to 15 with the neighbouring villas.

The Yoga Shala
A short walk up a dedicated staircase brings you to our rooftop yoga shala, a light-filled sanctuary with uninterrupted views of Koggala Lake, lush palms, and vibrant wildlife. The open-air studio of over 70 m² comfortably hosts 15 to 20 participants, making it perfect for yoga, breathwork, and spiritual gatherings. Fully equipped with 17 yoga mats in a storage cabinet, and its own bathroom and toilet, the space offers everything you need to create a transformative experience surrounded by the beauty of the Sri Lankan jungle.

Additional accommodation during retreats
La Maison VEDA sleeps seven. Beyond that we open two neighbouring houses, one and two minutes on foot: four beds at the Tothupola chalets, four at the Jungle Breeze villas. Seven, eleven, fifteen — the group stays together, and everyone has their own bed.We do not go beyond fifteen. We host retreats for small, intimate groups: it is the number where everyone stays comfortable, and where the human side survives.
Yoga Retreat at La maison VEDA

Pay a 50% deposit, due within 15 days to hold your dates, then the balance no later than 90 days before the stay begins. Cancellation is free up to 6 months before the stay; within six months the deposit is non-refundable, unless your dates are taken by someone else or in a case of force majeure.

La Maison VEDA is not just accommodation and a shala. If you want to enrich your programme, we bring in a teacher or practitioner for you: you choose the experience, we take care of everything. An entirely optional service, billed à la carte — including when Lilie or Anna leads the session.
Wellness & movement

A class with a certified teacher: Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini, Pilates. Including with Lilie or Anna, the studio teachers.
Deep experiences
from €150 per group
Sound bath — crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, gong —, breathwork, cacao ceremony, kirtan with musicians, Sri Lankan or Ayurvedic cooking workshop.
Ayurvedic immersion
from €80 per person
A full day in a traditional family Ayurvedic house, twenty minutes away.
Culture & nature
€10 to €35 per person
Boat ride on the lake from the garden, temple and puja ritual with a Buddhist guide, turtle hatchery, Galle Fort (UNESCO), tea factory, surfing.
